Tucker D. Crain
Tucker is a member of KCO’s labor and employment practice. Tucker represents employers in a variety of labor and employment disputes, including representing clients in agency proceedings, arbitral proceedings, mediations, and in state and federal courts across the nation. Prior to joining KCO, Tucker worked as an associate at the largest management-side labor and employment law firm in the world. Tucker also published articles on changes to Alabama tax laws and was a speaker for the National Business Institute’s Alabama Human Resources Law Bootcamp.
Tucker graduated cum laude from The University of Alabama School of Law. While in law school, Tucker served as a Senior Editor for the Alabama Law Review and was inducted into the Order of the Barristers for his moot court accolades. He also competed in the Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition, advancing to the top 16 teams nationally after earning the honor of “Best Advocate” at the Eleventh Circuit’s regional competition. He also advanced to the semifinals at The University of Alabama’s intra-scholastic moot court competition. Tucker participated in The University of Alabama’s federal judicial externship program with the Hon. L. Scott Coogler of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama. During law school, he volunteered with the Georgia Innocence Project, helping investigate claims of actual innocence in Georgia and Alabama prisons.
Prior to law school, Tucker graduated magna cum laude and with University Honors from Arkansas State University, earning a degree in multimedia journalism and receiving the Department of Media’s top award for graduating seniors. Outside of work, Tucker enjoys playing the drums, riding his bike on the Beltline, and cheering on the Crimson Tide.

- Successfully resolved numerous EEOC charges at mediation for nuisance value on various discrimination claims to prevent federal litigation.
- Advised large, closely regulated entity on appropriate Fair Labor Standards Act classification status for various roles.
- Conducted thorough labor force audits on large-scale manufacturing entity.
