Blake Brettschneider
Connie Chang is a veteran litigator who has successfully represented both businesses and individuals across a diverse array of legal matters. After a long career in private practice with large and boutique firms where she represented clients in state and federal courts, Connie worked as in-house legal counsel for a media conglomerate and for an entertainment technology company. Her time in-house has equipped Connie with valuable client-side perspective and experience. Throughout her career, Connie has secured favorable outcomes for her clients both in and out of court.
Connie focuses her practice at the Firm in areas including complex commercial litigation, employment law, breach of contract, shareholder conflicts, real estate litigation, and white-collar defense.
Connie earned her undergraduate degree from UCLA and her law degree from the UCLA School of Law, where she was the Co-Chief Articles Editor and Business Editor of the UCLA Pacific Basin Law Journal and served as a mentor in the UCLA Law Fellows program.
Connie is an LA-native and loves the city she lives in. She has been recognized as a “Rising Star” in Business Litigation by Southern California Super Lawyers.
- Obtained dismissal, summary judgment, or settlement on behalf of clients across various industries, including contractual disputes, employment matters, and real estate litigation.
- Represented multi-million-dollar commercial property owners in real estate disputes; successfully brought dispositive motion and motion to expunge lis pendens.
- Represented multi-billion-dollar hotel development project in fraud and breach of contract lawsuit; successfully opposed motion to compel arbitration and motion to dismiss complaint.
- Successfully defended client in anti-SLAPP motion brought in business litigation matter.
