Lennon B. Haas
Lennon Haas defends and counsels companies of all sizes in employment-related matters in state and federal courts throughout the nation, with a focus on complex class, collective, and representative actions involving claims under the federal Fair Labor Standards Act and state wage and hour laws. Lennon also has significant appellate experience defending clients in a variety of causes of action. Lennon’s results include groundbreaking appellate decisions, trial victories, defeating class/collective certification, and winning dismissals and summary judgment in a wide variety of employment-related cases.
Lennon’s litigation experience informs his counseling work. After spending more than a decade defending companies against wage claims, discrimination and retaliation claims, in commercial disputes, and against consumer financial services causes of action, Lennon has the experience and insight to help employers and businesses proactively identify and mitigate a variety of risks. Lennon’s advice and counsel is also informed by a strong belief that more brains are better than one. To that end, Lennon leverages KCO’s unparalleled bench of professionals to provide his clients with the right solutions.
Lennon also has a strong interest in pro bono legal work. He serves on the board of directors for Atlanta Volunteer Lawyer’s Foundation and regularly counsels indigent individuals experiencing housing crises. Lennon also accepts appointments by federal courts of appeal in matters the court appoints counsel in.
Before joining KCO, Lennon clerked for three different federal judges in the Northern and Southern Districts of Georgia, and spent seven years at one of the country’s largest management side labor and employment law firms.
