ATLANTA, G.A. – Kabat Chapman & Ozmer LLP (KCO) is pleased to announce that it has elevated Atlanta-based C. Celeste Creswell to equity partner and Paul G. Sherman to partner. These elevations went into effect on Jan. 1, 2024.

Celeste Creswell

Creswell handles diverse litigation nationwide, including complex commercial, employment and appellate matters. Along with lead counsel experience in federal and state jury trials, she’s a recognized Super Lawyer®, a Barrister in the Brock-Cooper Inn of Court and a Life Member of the Sixth Circuit Judicial Conference. Prior to entering private practice in 1998, she served as a law clerk for United States District Court Judge Curtis L. Collier. Creswell is also active in the community and currently serves on the Hamilton Medical Center Board of Trustees, as a Westcott Associate of the Whitfield Healthcare Foundation, an Elder at ChristChurch Presbyterian and a member of the Rotary Club of Dalton. She earned her undergraduate degree from Berry College and her law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law, where she earned induction into the Order of the Coif and served as an executive editor of the Georgia Law Review.

Paul Sherman

Sherman focuses his practice on labor and employment law exclusively on behalf of management. With his extensive experience in this area, he has worked on various class and collective action cases. Sherman has also represented clients in proceedings before federal and state Departments of Labor, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and state Fair Employment Practices Agencies. He previously worked in-house as the sole employment attorney for the world’s largest flooring and countertop manufacturer and clerked for the Honorable David Bramlette in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi. Sherman earned his undergraduate degree from Mississippi University for Women (admitting men since 1982) and his law degree from the University of Mississippi.
