Nathan D. Chapman

Chapman is a founding partner of KCO and focuses his practices on employment law as well as complex commercial litigation. Chapman works on several types of cases including, for example, wage and hour class, collective, and representative lawsuits, employment discrimination litigation, restrictive covenant matters, and other complex employment and commercial matters. He has represented clients at all levels of state and federal courts as well as in front of the federal Department of Labor and other federal and state administrative agencies.  Chapman earned his undergraduate degree at McGill University (summa cum laude) and earned his law degree from Florida State University College of Law (summa cum laude) where he earned induction into the Order of the Coif and served on law review and moot court.

C. Celeste Creswell

Creswell handles diverse litigation nationwide, including complex commercial, employment, and appellate matters.  She also serves as the firm’s General Counsel. Along with lead counsel experience in federal and state court jury trials as well as arbitration proceedings, she’s a Barrister in the Brock-Cooper Inn of Court and a Life Member of the Sixth Circuit Judicial Conference. Prior to entering private practice in 1998, Creswell served as a law clerk for United States District Court Judge Curtis L. Collier. She earned her undergraduate degree from Berry College (summa cum laude) and her law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law (magna cum laude), where she earned induction into the Order of the Coif and served as an executive editor of the Georgia Law Review.

Michael D. Kabat

Kabat is a founding partner of KCO, serves as the firm’s managing partner, and leads the Firm’s labor and employment practice. He has over 30 years of experience in management-side labor and employment law with a heavy focus on class, collective, and representative litigation. Kabat also regularly advises clients on labor relations issues as well as day to day employment disputes, Kabat has been named a Georgia Super Lawyer® in Employment & Labor for over a decade, as well as a Top Rated Lawyer in Labor & Employment and AV Preeminent®. He earned his undergraduate degree from The State University of New York at Binghamton and earned his law degree at Duke University School of Law.

Joseph W. Ozmer II

Ozmer II is a founding partner of KCO and practices employment law, with a particular emphasis on class, collective, and representative action litigation. Over the past few years, Ozmer has defended clients in well over 100 such actions, serving as lead trial counsel in multiple jurisdictions across the nation. Prior to completing his law degree, Ozmer served in the United States Marine Corps as an artillery officer and was decorated for exceptional service. Ozmer then served as the Chief Trial Counsel and Military Justice Officer for the Marine Corps Air Station at Cherry Point, North Carolina, where he tried numerous criminal and administrative cases, and received two awards for outstanding trial advocacy. He has been recognized as a Georgia Super Lawyer® since 2009 and has also been recognized as one of Georgia Trend’s “Legal Elite.” Ozmer received his undergraduate degree from Georgia Tech and his law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he graduated summa cum laude, finishing second in his class, earning induction into the Order of the Coif, and serving as the Executive Articles Editor for the Georgia Law Review.
