Kabat is a founding partner of KCO and serves as the firm’s managing partner and Labor and Employment practice leader. Drawing on over 35 years of experience in management-side labor and employment law, he and his team have successfully handled over 200 federal and state class, collective and representative actions. Kabat also regularly advises clients on labor relations issues and day-to-day employment disputes. Kabat earned his undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton and his law degree from Duke University School of Law.
Chapman, a founding partner of KCO, focuses his practice on employment law, trade secret and restrictive covenant disputes, and complex commercial litigation. He has extensive experience handling discrimination and retaliation claims; wage and hour matters; and class, collective and representative action lawsuits, as well as other complex employment and commercial matters. He has represented clients at all levels of state and federal courts, as well as before the U.S. Department of Labor and other federal and state administrative agencies. Chapman earned his undergraduate degree from McGill University, summa cum laude, and his law degree from Florida State University College of Law, summa cum laude, where he was inducted into the Order of the Coif and served on the law review and moot court.
Williams is an associate in the firm’s class and collective action, appellate, labor and employment, and commercial litigation practice groups. He previously clerked for Judge Frank M. Hull at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit and worked for the 11th Circuit Staff Attorney’s Office, where he prepared memoranda and draft opinions for the entire court. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, as well as the Georgia Supreme Court and Court of Appeals. Williams earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Georgia, cum laude. He received his law degree from Georgia State University College of Law, summa cum laude. He was inducted into the Order of the Coif, and he served on the law review and moot court and as a graduate research assistant.
