ATLANTA, August 7, 2025 – Kabat Chapman & Ozmer LLP (KCO) is pleased to announce the addition of Josh Keefe and Sharada Jambulapati to the firm. Keefe joins as an associate in the firm’s commercial litigation practice group. Jambulapati, also an associate, will practice in KCO’s commercial litigation and labor and employment practice groups.
“We are excited to welcome Sharada and Josh,” said Michael Kabat, KCO’s founding managing partner. “They are dynamic and invaluable additions to our firm, and we look forward to their contributions to our strong legacy of success.”
Keefe comes to KCO after serving as an appellate attorney for the United States Marine Corps, representing clients before the Navy-Marine Corps Court of Criminal Appeals (NMCCA) and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces (USCAAF). He will focus his practice on resolving legal disputes related to business operations. Keefe brings extensive litigation experience within the military justice system, having first chaired multiple jury trials and served as appellate counsel. His experience with investigations, trials and appeals equips him to handle complex cases and trials on behalf of businesses. Keefe earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto, with high distinction; his master’s degree from Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs; and his law degree from Syracuse University College of Law, cum laude, where he co-founded the Syracuse Veterans Legal Clinic, was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society, and served as the President of the Student Bar Association. Josh continues to help military communities by providing pro bono legal assistance to veterans, service members, and military families.
Jambulapati will focus on advising employers on workplace compliance and representing clients in employment and commercial litigation matters, including restrictive covenant disputes. Prior to joining KCO, Jambulapati served as a senior staff attorney at the Southern Poverty Law Center, where she litigated class action and Federal Tort Claims Act lawsuits and conducted intake of civil, employment, tort and contractual rights matters. Prior to that, she was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Robin Rosenbaum of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, the Honorable James Graves Jr. of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit and the Honorable Abdul Kallon of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama. Jambulapati brings strong litigation and strategic legal advocacy skills that will be invaluable to her work with the firm. She earned her undergraduate degree from Stanford University, where she was a John Gardner Public Service Fellow and Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholar, and a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She earned her law degree from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, where she was both a Paul & Daisy Soros Fellow for New Americans in 2026 and a Dean’s Fellow, and won the American Jurisprudence award in advanced legal research.
